Registration Fees
In recognition of the global challenges facing our academic communities, membership and registration fees for LASA2027 remain unchanged from 2025.
You have two options to register for the LASA2027 Congress. Compare each option and make an informed decision on which one suits you best.
1. All Access Fees
Membership + Congress Registration with discount
All Access provides all the benefits of the LASA membership plus registration to the LASA2027 Congress. This option is the cost-saving alternative, since acquiring the membership and Congress registration jointly turns out in a total lower fee.

2. Congress Registration Fees
This option consists of acquiring the Congress registration separately from the LASA membership. Please consider that acquiring the LASA membership and Congress registration separately turns out in a total higher fee.

Friends of LASA is a free non-member account. Therefore, should acquire the Congress registration at the non-member or non-member student rate or become a member to benefit from discounted registration fees.
* Local Students and Scholars registration is only for students and scholars who are Mexican residents with no role in the Congress and no previous affiliation with LASA. Local students and scholars will not receive a certificate of attendance. Please, don’t forget to bring your university ID and/or state ID to be registered as a local student or local scholar.

Category 2
Category 3
Category 4
Country categories are based on a two-dimensional model with information from the Human Development Index (HDI) of the United Nations and the World Bank classification of income economies. Although some Latin American countries are classified in category 1 by these organizations, LASA has decided to place them in category 2 in order to provide more accessible rates to all people residing in Latin American countries.
Registration Fees policy
All Access and Congress registration fees are non-refundable. LASA will not charge membership fees to any individual whose right to vote at the Association level is denied by US legislation or current interpretation thereof.
