As mulheres excluídas do cânone das ciências sociais

Este artigo, publicado no periódico acadêmico Estudos Históricos, recupera e coloca em diálogo as obras de duas pensadoras importantes que foram deixadas de fora do cânone do período clássico da sociologia: Flora Tristan e Harriet Martineau.

Ambas viveram e atuaram no início do século 19, quando as contribuições de mulheres no campo intelectual eram menos valorizadas. Elas tiveram, portanto, que defender sua participação no debate público e refletir sobre seus lugares como investigadoras da realidade social.
