LASA extends period to vote for vice president, treasurer and three members of the Executive Council

The Latin American Studies Association decided to extend the elections period until April 14, 2019. In these elections, LASA members are requested to vote for the following representatives:

  • Vice President/President-Elect
  • Treasurer
  • Three members of the Executive Council

The newly-elected officers will assume their responsibilities on June 1, 2019 after the LASA international Congress in Boston, May 24 - 27, 2019. LASA membership can learn about the candidates by reading their biographies on the voting website.

By voting you are helping to elect the people who will lead this association and implement its policies in the near future, and showing your commitment to the field of Latin American Studies in the global world.
