En un contexto de crisis en el que se relaciona a la clase política al concepto de “casta”, despoja de la connotación negativa al término "élites" y asegura que en las democracias que funcionan bien, "las élites se renuevan y esa renovación es lo que les da vitalidad a las democracias”. Dice que en el peronismo esa renovación está pendiente y sostiene: “El kirchnerismo es el establishment hoy en día en la Argentina”.
