La Amazonía sin oxígeno

El COVID-19 viene golpeando duramente a la Amazonía. La región más afectada por la pandemia es Loreto, la quinta región con mayor número de casos a nivel nacional. Sin embargo, los números oficiales están lejos de revelar el verdadero drama. El 14 de mayo el Hospital Regional de Loreto registró más de 800 fallecimientos por COVID-19 en la región, seis veces más que la cifra oficial en ese momento (92).
